Creamy Miso & Asparagus Pasta

1/2 PACKAGE OF NOODLES
5 TO 8 ASPARAGUS SPEARS
2 GARLIC CLOVES
1 SHALLOT
2 TBSP BUTTER
2 TBSP MISO PASTE
1/3 CUP HEAVY CREAM
1/3 CUP PARMESAN CHEESE
olive oil for cooking.
SESAME SEEDS FOR GARNISH



1. Cook the noodles per package instructions
2. In a skillet on medium heat add enough olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan and add the asparagus cut into 1 in pieces.
3. Add the butter and dice the shallot and add it to the asparagus after a minute or 2 then press in the garlic.
4. Stir in the miso paste and heavy cream.
5. Salt and pepper to taste
6. Stir in the pasta and remove from heat.
7. Stir in the Parmesan, plate and garnish with the sesame seeds.
