Lectin Free Question

What is Lectin Free Diet?

A lectin-free or lectin-avoidance diet is one that is recommended by Steven Gundry in his book The Plant Paradox: The Hidden Dangers in “Healthy” Foods that Cause Disease and Weight Gain. The diet encourages avoiding foods high in lectins. There are many types, but the three main categories are grains, nightshade vegetables, and legumes, according to this book. Check out Dr. Gundry's website for more information on Lectin Free Diet.

Are all your millet products lectin free?

All of our millet products are considered lectin free but millet + brown rice pasta (linked here), since there is one other ingredient: organic brown rice flour, and it is not lectin free! To assure you’re getting lectin free pasta, look for single-ingredient organic millet flour or organic sorghum flour on the label. Check out the lectin free goodies collection (linked here), which is full of lectin free goodies!
